Forklift Transmission - Using gear ratios, a gearbox or transmission provides speed and torque conversions from a rotating power source to another device. The term transmission means the complete drive train, as well as the clutch, final drive shafts, differential, gearbox and prop shaft. Transmissions are more frequently used in motor vehicles.
